Valid Identification Required: Ensure you have proper identification, such as a passport or Emirates ID, which may be requested for security and check-in purposes.
Transfers and Pick-up Flexibility: Please note that the pick-up and drop-off timings for shared transfers can be adjusted based on the trip schedule, typically by 30 to 60 minutes. This flexibility is in response to traffic conditions and your location. Private transportation from remote areas may incur an additional charge, which will be communicated in advance by our operations team. If you prefer to use your own vehicle, we will provide you with location details and contact information.
Waiver Form Submission: To participate in the experience, the waiver form must be completed at least 24 hours before the flight. Please fill out the waiver form and submit it online.
Weight and Capacity Limits: Please be aware that the maximum weight limit for participants is 115kg, and the maximum capacity for the Hot Air Balloon is between 11 to 28 passengers.
Drone Usage and Filming: In accordance with the strict rules and regulations set by the UAE government, we do not permit the use of drones during the flight. Filming of the flight and the Event Banner on the basket is available at an additional cost as an optional service.
Baggage Restrictions: Due to weight and space constraints, hot air balloons typically have strict baggage limitations. It is advisable to leave large bags and unnecessary items behind. We offer secure storage for your belongings during the flight.
Age and Health Considerations:
- The minimum age for participation is 5 years old.
- Children within the age group of 5-12 years are categorized as such, while those above 12 years are considered adults.
- We do not recommend participation for individuals with physical disabilities, impairments, acrophobia (fear of heights), back/knee problems, serious heart-related conditions, or pregnant women.
- If you have any medical conditions or physical limitations that may impact your comfort during the flight, kindly inform the tour provider in advance.
Weather-Dependent Flights: Your safety is our utmost concern. We will only proceed with the flight when weather conditions are optimal. In case a flight needs to be canceled due to unfavorable weather, you have the option to reschedule for another day or receive a full refund. We make every effort to communicate a canceled flight to you the day before your scheduled experience.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation of a flight booking can be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled flight time and will qualify for a 100% refund.
- If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the scheduled flight time, a refund will not be issued.
Safety and Experience Assurance: All our pilots possess valid GCAA – UAE licenses and have accrued significant hours of experience in balloon flying with a commendable safety record. We strictly adhere to the safety and quality standards established by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
